BSTC Sisterhood Mission Statement

The mission of the Beth Shalom Temple Center Sisterhood is:

  • To promote fellowship and support among its members.

  • Establish a presence in the community.

  • Support BSTC endeavors.

Beth Shalom Temple Center has benefited by the formation of a Sisterhood many years ago. In recent times under a progressive board of directors the BSTC Sisterhood has moved even farther forward with monthly varied programs catering to all tastes and interests.  Past programs have included a trip to Jewish History Museum, speakers demonstrating acupuncture, movies, holding an Annual Fundraiser and Mah Jongg Tournament, participating in the Chanukah party event, and luncheons at varied locations in the Tucson area.

The Board meets at the Temple the second Tuesday of each month at 10 AM and is open to all Sisterhood members.

The annual dues are $20.00 and includes a luncheon with a popular and interesting speaker.

One of our valued members, Roz Sirota has written a prayer that we use at all our functions and in our printed matter:

Thank you creator of the universe...for our yesterdays...for our memories.
Thank you for our tomorrows…for our hopes and prayers.
Most especially, God, thank you for this day and this precious moment together...Amen
